Building on the foundations of earlier levels, this course will help you refine your language skills and deepen your understanding of Italian culture. Nicola Sorrenti (Nico) is a native Italian language teacher from southern Italy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Italian language teaching to non-native speakers (University of Messina, 2014), a CELTA Certificate (Brighton, 2017), and a Master’s Degree in TESOL with ICT (University of Brighton, 2020) Over the years, he has worked in various contexts, with learners of all ages, both face to face and online. He uses a blended approach with the inclusion of cultural aspects, both to sustain the students' interests and motivation in the subject, and to meet learners’ needs. His experiences across Italy and the UK contributed to develop a varied background that ranges from classical studies to cutting-edge methodologies in the world of digital language teaching. His interests also include comparative linguistics, literature, storytelling, visual arts and technology. |
