This course is for people who have some experience in art and would like to develop their skills and interests, expand  their previous knowledge and explore more techniques.

We will be using a wide variety of mediums and subject matter as well as looking at the work of other artists for inspiration.

Tips will be given on composition, colour mixing, tonal values, artistic licence, how to mix media and much more. 

Originally from Cheshire, I attained an art foundation with distinction at Manchester before moving to Brighton where I completed an Honours Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. I am lucky enough to live by the sea in Newhaven, East Sussex with two adored cats as part of my family but am also based in Altrincham. Cheshire. I can often be found painting plein air in the summer with a borrowed doggy companion. 

My paintings are an exploration of rich colour, mood and light with a special interest in reflections. I enjoy painting any kind of subject matter such as still life, seascape, landscape  although my particular favourite is people and pet portraiture.
